Episode 6

It’s critically important you understand that no one will ever be able to accept a “Savior for sins” unless they first are willing to acknowledge “their sin.” It’s only logical that before there can ever be any remedy or proposed solution there must first be the existence and assumed recognition of a problem.

Honestly, I have found that many people today fail to accept Jesus as a Savior (instead choosing to embrace Him as a loving friend, a wonderful moral example, even as a gracious God) because they refuse to see themselves for what they actually are - a sinner in need of saving!

And since this is the tragic case there are also many people today who subsequently fail to encounter Jesus for who He actually is (a Savior for sin) because they’re simply unwilling to admit they’ve fallen short of the person God wants them to be!

Please understand, Jesus might love you just the way that you are, but that doesn’t mean He loves the way that you are! Sadly, there are so many people today who misinterpret Jesus’ love for the person as His acceptance of that individuals present condition. Sure Jesus loves you even though you’re fallen, broken, and messed up, but it’s because He loves you that Jesus isn’t content to leave you that way.

You see Jesus steps into your life for one purpose - and it isn’t affirmation. His intention is transformation… Jesus as a Savior plans to change you, reshape you, ultimately restore you, and in the process make you into the very thing you aren’t… The question begs - Do you want this and if so will you let Him?
